Lee Special - Hummingbirds in Capitol Reef National Park, UT
The camp hosts at Capitol Reef were lovely to chat to, and as we did so, I spotted a few bird feeders hanging around their rig. "Are those Hummingbirds?" I asked. "They sure are, they go mad for the sugary water we give them", they replied.
It was really cool seeing these tiny, energetic birds in action!
They almost don't look real with slightly robotic movements. To be honest though, I don't know why they just don't land rather than expending all that energy to hover?! Some great footage and pics though.
