The tour was awesome. It was a free self guided tour, with a free packet of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans at the end and free samples in the shop. The tour went over the factory floor explaining the Jelly Bean making and packaging process. We both loved watching the automated machines at work and were surprised that the hard shell is added using huge washing machines.
At the end of the tour, we had some free samples in the shop and then bought a huge 2lb bag of Belly Flops, cast-off Jelly Beans that were not perfect enough to make it into the standard packets. Regardless of their shape and colour, they taste great!
Hey I am a Jelly Belly fan, I have a box of Beans on my desk as I type this. The kids love playing bean boozled too but it is kinda gross, the vomit/barf flavour being very, very bad!!
ReplyDeleteThe soundtrack worked really well with the robotic arms packing the Jell Bellys.
it was cool seeing the trays lined up with single coulour beans in them
