Note: This blog entry is chronologically out of order compared to the rest. Sam is doing a great job at trying to catch us back up, but the blog is about a month behind where we actually are.
Yesterday we hit arguably the most important milestone of the road trip. By entering South Carolina, we had ticked off the final state in our list of 48. On one hand, we are chuffed to bits that we have achieved what we had set out to do, but on the other hand it is a solemn reminder that our adventure is nearly over. But for all intents and purposes: Road Trip 48 - DONE!
Fully understand you are sad your wonderful trip is coming to an end.

Weird to see this entry here but it is a poignant milestone and made more so looking at it now as Mum had commented :-(
